All-on-4 Dental Implants

Dental implants are the best way to replace missing teeth, but traditional techniques can require bone grafting and months of healing. We are one of the very few dental practices in the United States to be officially recognized as an All-on-4® Center of Excellence! Learn how Dr. Avinash S. Bidra uses this scientifically proven method for replacing failing teeth with fixed permanent Teeth in a Day!

Teeth in a Day in Connecticut
with All-on-4 or All-on-6 Dental Implants (Full mouth implants for top and bottom)

We are unique because your treatment will be done using premium quality implants and biomaterials by
One Doctor, One Location, One Day, One Price
and Done Once Right!

Starting at a very reasonable cost, the All-on-4 is more cost-effective than some traditional implant techniques which require bone grafts and sinus grafting procedures. We only use premium quality implants (Straumann and Nobel Biocare) and premium biomaterials and do not cut costs by using shortcut techniques, copycat or cheaper quality implants and biomaterials that will cause future problems.

All-on-4 or All-on-6 or All-on-X is a revolutionary All in One treatment concept for full mouth implants (top and bottom) that reduces dental implant treatment times, allowing patients to receive a stable fixed permanent new set of teeth in a single day. These are non-removable permanent set of teeth unlike traditional dentures. Whether the patient will be provided with 4 implants, 5 implants or 6 implants or 8 implants depends upon patient's bone volume, bone quality determined by the clinician. In our office, the cost stays the same irrespective of the number of implants. The All-on-4 treatment is significantly more stable and superior than the simple snap on implant dentures. There is no need for any bone grafting with this procedure and Dr. Bidra works very hard to provide patients with a no bone graft solution by strategically angling the dental implants in your own jaw bone. This results in reduced costs for the patient! The patient arrives at our office in the morning and has a functioning implant-supported bridge by the very same afternoon. The treatment is also aptly termed Teeth in a Day

All-on-4 Dental Implants vs. Traditional Dental Implants

All-on-4 implant is a revolutionary implant treatment procedure at our Glastonbury, CT, dental office that requires less bone tissue than the traditional dental implant procedure. This makes it a viable tooth replacement option for many patients with missing teeth who do not want to wear traditional dentures. Dr. Bidra has performed hundreds of All-on-4 treatments involving thousands of implants. Our practice is recognized officially by Nobel Biocare as the All-on-4 Center of Excellence. The All-on-4 implant procedure can provide patients with a significant improvement in their quality of life and several other benefits:

Only One Surgery

A minimum of four implant posts are embedded into your jaw during one surgical appointment. A permanently attached bridge is attached to the posts during the same visit. Traditional implant dentures are removable (snap on) and require a greater number of posts as well as multiple surgeries and appointments.

Fast Results

All-on-4 technology is scientifically backed by hundreds of clinical studies with thousands of patients and eliminates months-long healing periods between the two surgeries needed for traditional implants. With All-on-4, you can go back to a normal diet and lifestyle in just a few days thanks to the implant-supported denture.

No Bone Grafts

All-on-4 does not require bone grafting because two of the four posts are placed at an angle to maximize contact with the existing bone tissue. Many patients with missing teeth suffer from bone atrophy, meaning traditional implants would not be recommended unless the jawbone is first strengthened through bone grafting.

Find the Smile You've Been Missing with All-on-4®

It can be hard living life without your smile. Thanks to the All-on-4® technique, though, you may be able to find the stable dentures you desire. Even if you've had trouble qualifying for implant-supported dentures in the past, this method can treat a broader range of patients.

I have been going here for years. They are very caring and competent. Any procedures that I have had done here have been next to pain free. They have been known to stop and make sure that everything was okay when working on me. I was always fine and I have even experienced them calling me later to check on me. I wholeheartedly recommend this office.

A Closer Look at the All-on-4 Implant Technique

All-on-4 dental implants
All-on-4 often does not require bone grafting because two of the four posts are placed at an angle to maximize contact with the existing jawbone tissue.

Am I a Good All-on-4 Implant Candidate?

Dr. Bidra will thoroughly review your medical and dental history, and examine 3D images of your oral structures to determine if you are a candidate for All-on-4 implants. You should also meet these qualifications:

  • You are missing most or all of the natural teeth on your lower or upper dental arches.
  • You have enough healthy jawbone tissue to support the four implants needed.
  • You must commit to good oral hygiene so your implants and restorations last as long as possible.
  • You are a non-smoker or can commit to quitting. Smoking can delay healing.
  • Your general health is not compromised and you don't have uncontrolled diabetes or autoimmune disorders.

The All-on-4 Implant Procedure

If you need to have a tooth extracted or other preparatory procedures, we can usually complete these in our office.
We take the time to listen and gently treat each patient on a one-on-one basis like a family member.
We take the time to listen and gently treat each patient on a one-on-one basis like a family member.

Anesthesia/Sedation

After numbing anesthesia is administered, the procedure can begin. Our practice also offers IV sedation to help you "sleep" through the procedure if desired.

Implant Placement

If damaged or failing teeth exist, they will be extracted/removed first and infections cleaned up. Then, small incisions will be made in your gums in pre-determined areas. The titanium posts (dental implants) will then be inserted into your jawbone through the incisions.

Teeth-in-a-Day

A set of temporary full arch bridges (your teeth-in-a-day) will be immediately attached/bolted to the implants so you can begin smiling and talking normally. You should eat soft foods for a few weeks until you are instructed by Dr. Bidra. Any pain can be managed with store-bought pain medications

Permanent Teeth

Over the next four to six months, your jawbone will fuse to the implants, anchoring them in place. After our dentists have confirmed that healing is complete, you'll return to our office to have your temporary teeth replaced with brand new, beautifully customized restorations made of strong porcelain. Now it's smile time!

Another All-on-4 Transformation A Full Set of Permanent Teeth Attached in the Mouth on Just 4 Implants

There are so many examples of the positive difference that dental implants can make. Consider the results we achieved with this patient. With just four carefully positioned implants, we were able to support full upper and lower dentures that look just like natural teeth.

Worried About Costs? Your Investment Could Last a Lifetime

How Much Does All-on-4 Cost?

Starting at a very reasonable cost, the All-on-4 is more cost-effective than some traditional implant techniques which require bone grafts and sinus grafting procedures. The cost of phase 2 of the treatment (installation of the premium zirconia bridge) will be determined after clinical examination and imaging. We only use premium quality implants (Straumann and Nobel Biocare) and premium biomaterials and do not cut costs by using shortcut techniques, copycat or cheaper quality implants and biomaterials that will cause future problems.  It is also worth noting that dental and health insurance rarely, if ever, cover the cost of implant surgery. Some dental insurance plans may cover a portion of your extractions and implant abutments, but out-of-pocket costs remain.

Dental Financing Options

This is why our Glastonbury practice offers CareCredit® financing and 3 additional competitive 3rd party financing options to break the total cost of All-on-4 dental implants into affordable monthly payments. The cost of All-on-4 can vary based whether a patient chooses sedation. Our doctors want everyone to receive the dental care they need to live a better life, despite budget concerns.
